Electronic Repair Technician
HOERBIGER Engine Technologies/Altronic LLC is seeking a Repair Technician to join our team in Girard, Ohio.
Reporting to the Repair Department Manager, the Repair Technician tests, troubleshoots, identifies and replaces failed electronic components on new printed circuit board assemblies and on ones returned for warranty consideration using schematics and test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and functional testers.
This is a full-time hourly position, day shift or afternoon shift, Monday to Friday schedule.
Overtime is required as necessary per the production requirements, for all the employees.
Main Tasks:
Use schematics to test, troubleshoot, identify, and replace failed electronic components on circuit boards Read and interpret electronic schematics and assembly drawings Conduct root cause analysis of failures and write failure reports Requirements/Challenges:
Associate degree in electronic or related field; an Electrical Engineering Technology Degree is preferred 1-3 years' experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing printed circuit board assemblies Knowledge of electronic components and their applications Computer skills Time management skills Verbal and written communication skills Soldering experience is a plus Experience with SAP is a plus Overtime as per company requirements
