As a Medical Scribe, you are responsible to facilitate patient flow and ensure an accurate and complete medical record for each patient history to increase efficiency and productivity.

Perform day-to-day administrative functions and general office duties including but not limited to word processing, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones and data entry.
Accurately & thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the RN.
Collect, organize, and catalog data for RN quality reporting system.
Review/proof read for mistakes and inconsistencies in medical documentation to reduce errors.
Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in accordance with governing HIPAA regulations.
Adhere to all company policies on safety and security; maintains restricted areas safe by safeguarding keyless entry codes and computer system passwords in strict confidentiality.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
Must be literate and able to maintain simple records, in English.
Must have a criminal background check.
Two years Home Healthcare experience or equivalency.
Job Conditions:
This is a desk position that involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication.
This position requires minimal lifting.
One must be able to adequately hear on the telephone, with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing, in English.
