Answer phones, receive all intake information for all paraprofessional cases, and enter the appropriate information in the computer.
Complete intake forms and appropriately route them for admission approval.
Assist in the scheduling of appropriately skilled person to fill the case, input scheduling information on the computer, and continue to assist in the coordination of the scheduling.
Take telephone referral information.
All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience in a Home Healthcare setting, preferred.
Experience as a certified Medical Assistant preferred.
Must be literate and able to maintain simple records, in English.
Must have a criminal background check.
Job Conditions:
This is a desk position that involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication.
This position requires minimal lifting.
One must be able to adequately hear on the telephone, with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing, in English.
