Senior Maintenance Technician
Main Tasks.
This position is responsible for the oversight and implementation of the maintenance and upkeep of Altronic Equipment at the Girard campus locations.
This requires technical competency in determining potential failure modes in equipment and building structures to plan and act accordingly to avert such failures.
Understanding of the Altronic Manufacturing processes and equipment is required to ensure efficient use of in-house and contracted labor during repair and preventive measures.
Individual Tasks.
Perform scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance on production equipment to meet defined KPI's Define, document, and record PM requirements with manufacturing engineering and/or test engineering Determine and schedule in-house vs.
contracted maintenance Maintain and report project(s) status Manage the overall maintenance of the Altronic Girard Campus Perform skilled special project/equipment troubleshooting including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, roofing, construction, HVAC, and PLC's Any additional maintenance deemed necessary Requirements/Challenges.
Ensuring and supporting a clean and safe working environment Able to multi-task and prioritize maintenance activities Able to communicate in a professional manner with contracted vendor services Strong Electrical/Mechanical aptitude Minimum 5
years' experience Minimum Technical Certification/Technical Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience is a must Responsible as first responder for Fire Alarm System 24/7 in the case of an event Special Knowledge/Skills.
Strong PLC knowledge preferred Strong use of electrical testing equipment Strong Computer skills (MP2 Maintenance Management system, SAP knowledge preferred) Basic math skills a must Strong problem-solving skills Strong mechanical skills Strong organizational skills Personal and Social Skills.
Able to work well within a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with other departments and 3rd party vendors Must be diligent and attentive to the work being performed Must be self-motivated Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment and perform various duties within the Maintenance department as needed throughout the annual year Positive attitude Recommended Skills Adaptability Communication Construction Coordinating Electrical Inspection Fire Alarm Systems Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
